Be Fine: Food For Skin

I recently read about Be Fine's line of natural skincare made of 181 natural ingredients and was intrigued by the concept. The company slogan states they will "Treat your skin to a gourment feast" and they literally do. Almost all of the ingredients are food, which they claim our skin is able to recognize and process better than chemicals. Instead of relying on the language of chemistry and technology, the company relies on the language of biology and food. The line is essentially vegan with vegetarian proteins, paraben-free preservatives and allergen-free fragrance. You could actually eat everything from the line although it wouldn't taste that good as they're designed to be digested by your skin. Best of all, creator Florence Sender conceived her skincareline with the assistance of chemists from Japan, Europe and the United States with absolutely no animal testing!

Sounds great right? But how does it feel and work on the skin? I tried out the line and I have to tell you, I am thoroughly impressed with it. I had an allergic reaction on my skin this week and my entire face felt tender and sore (my eyes were swollen too!). Every little thing made my skin hurt and sting, even my sunscreen. I was scared my usual 12 step routine would further irritate my skin and I had received my products samples from Be Fine earlier in the week so I decided to try it, hoping its natural ingredients would calm my skin. I used the neck cream and night cream the first night and my skin immediately felt better. The neck cream is amazing; lightweight, velvety and left my skin soft. The night cream was also incredibly moisturizing without leaving any greasy residue. I did some research on the company online and was shocked to discover that it is sold at CVS with an average price of $20! I had pegged it as a line sold at department stores or Sephora! I immediately contacted the company's PR rep and asked them to sponsor our giveaway so our readers can see for themselves the miracle that is food. Our August giveaway starts next Monday, August 6th and will run for 4 weeks. If you can not wait, run to CVS and try my favorites:

Sourced from mushroom extracts (for firming) and caffeine (to even out and smooth wrinkles), this product is a great all-purpose cream. Includes rosemary, pomegranate and rice. The rosemary and pomegranate actually help support collagen. The pomegranate also boosts the sunscreen’s defense—this is a powerhouse antioxidant we’re talking about, after all—and the rice protects and moisturizes. Paraben-free and made with vegetarian proteins, this is a delicious way to boost circulation and cell regeneration. $19.99

  • Boo shame! There are no CVS stores nearby; could this possibly be available anywhere else? Is there another drugstore brand that performs exceptionally that anyone could recommend for my combination skin?

  • befine is available on cvs.com in case there aren't any cvs stores nearby!! =)

  • I am excited about this and the price, too! I will go buy some, because I can't ever seem to win your giveaways. LOL.
Much thanks to you and the companies for sponsoring the contest. They are great fun. The entire family has crowded around the screen to help me.

  • Must try this!

  • Is this okay to use for people with acne-prone skin?

  • They sell Be Fine products here in Texas at H.E. Butt (I know, funny name). I have acne and I'm 21, I've been using their pore refining treatment scrub, toner and exfoliating cleanser, which helped clear up my skin! I like it that it doesn't dry out my skin. It also says that it is "good for all skin types", so far it's working for me.

  • My daughter is away for the weekend and she left her BeFine products home, so I sneaked a trial. I'm impressed and I only used the toner, no tightness, no burning. I think a trip to CVS is in order this week. As an older lady, I hate to tell you how much I have spent in a lifetime for skincare products - too much (for too little), so I am looking forward to having my own BE Fine products.

  • Hey, I may be the first guy posting this? but I'm not uneasy about my masculinity at all. I use the BeFine facial exfoliator and I find it to be great so far. It really buffs the skin and balances it out. If one happens to get just a wee bit of it in the mouth, it has a nice sweet food taste. Seeems to be a great product.

  • I bought samples of befine Exfoliating Cleanser W/Almond. I have oily skin, I have been useing Befine every morning for just 4 days. Even at the end of the day my face is smooth and balanced. I had a customer ask me

    & smooth.
Great Product and Feel Good about
    the Natural Ingredients.

  • This great line of facial products is also found at Ulta Cosmetic stores.
