Sekkisei Sekisho Mask
I got this mask last week in New York and it has become my latest obsession. Who knew the way to snow white and gorgeous skin is with a gooey black mask? I love any kind of peeling mask, especially one that dries evenly and peels off without crumbling cuz it feels so good to peel off old skin to make way for baby soft skin! The rep from Sekkisei told me it helps increase clarity and radiance to your skin by removing dirt and impurities to enhance translucency. I like it cuz it's chock full of Asian herbs and gentle enough for most skin types although you should consult with your cosmetic sales rep before purchasing. In case you're wondering, the color is from nano black powder which aids in absorption of all the herbal extracts in the mask.
I put it on over the weekend causing my two year old to shout "Mama, something on your face! You have ouchie?" Which then caused my husband to come out of his ESPN coma to see what the fuss was about. After 6 years of marriage nothing surprises him much, (he's watched me massage my face with everything from half eaten grapefruit to raw egg whites but that's another story I'll tell you about later) but this definitely took him by surprise. He shook his head, told our son his mama was nuts and took him to the golf course. So I suggest you hide in the bathroom when you use the mask (I have a friend who does this- her husband has never witnessed any of her beauty routines!) or wait until the house is all clear cuz it is kind of scary looking. Does this work for glowing brown skin?
Or is it made for fair skin only ?
I've used this before...2 bottles, and my skin is as luminous as the SK-II models! I love this, but be careful around the eyes and nose as it really does hurt if you peel off to quickly!!
Yes, this line works perfect for my olive skin too! I love the soap and lotion. It smells heavenly!

This is totally different from the Natura Bisse ice mask. I'd switch off between the two if you have both or you can try this after you finish the Ice mask.

Will this work on African-American skin or is it made only for fair skin?
Absolutely! You can use this on African American skin, who are also prone to uneven skin tone!

I have this one too! and I am on my second bottle! This is an awsome product! It does everything you mentioned above! (Included the "shocking" part, I scared my brother, and he loves it after I forced him to try it)
Annie: I've tried their powder face wash, it's really good too, it forms up so well and you only need a tiny little bit (one bottle last me quite a while, not to mention my mom always steals from it too :P)
i just got this and used it for the first time. i'm a little worried that i left it on too long. when i peeled it off my skin, it almost stung a little. did any of you experience some dryness when peeling it off? maybe my skin is too sensitive for this product?
I absolutely LOUV this product! I've written a review of it on my blog. Am currently into the 3rd bottle of this now. It's really a holy grail product for deep cleansing skin - getting rid of those pesky black heads and preventing whiteheads.
This is really good for those who have oily skin and combination skin type. It really get rids of blackheads-even those large and small and your face feels so clean after using it. I feel the whitening effect here is actually evening out the skin tone and getting rid of dead skin.
Should really try this out. Though I wouldn't this who have dry skin type.
is this good for acne-prone skin?
I think is useful for those who put makeup on a regular basis and for those oily zones. This masks absorbs oil bery well without drying out your skin. Good for those will oil plugs, blackheads and whiteheads.
i live in england and i dont think they sell it here, so i've asked my mum to get it for me in taiwan!! i've also asked her to pick up the exfloliator from the same range while she's there, have you used it before? any good? :)
