Gross gloss for a good cause

So when I first saw Too Faced’s Juicy Jewels lip gloss I was stoked. It’s two lip glosses in one, with applicators on both sides, so your fingers don’t get all gross and sticky. And as an added bonus, the two lip glosses are flavored so you’d have rockin’ lips and a tasty treat. What could be better than that? Simple answer – anything. This is probably the worst lip gloss that I have ever used. We’ll begin with the fact that it was disgustingly sticky. I know, you’re thinking “But Beauty Snob, a lot of glosses are sticky and sometimes that’s just the price you have to pay for a pretty gloss.” Juicy Jewels was beyond sticky. It was so bad that it was coxing hairs that were firmly tucked into my updo to come out and plant themselves against my lips. I could have used it as a hair gel! The flavors taste nothing like advertised and the packaging is the worst idea ever. After one night of using it, the gloss had leaked all over my vintage clutch, staining the lining! I seriously wonder if the packaging ever went through quality control or anything similar. If, after all my warnings you still must try a Juicy Jewels gloss, buy “Love Lisa.” The shade was created in honor of the company’s founder’s sister who was recently diagnosed with melanoma and 100% of the proceeds go to “The Skin Cancer Foundation.” $21.50 at Sephora. 1. Hi Kelly and Tina,

Actually I have allergies from Too Faced’s lipglosses. I do have problem with lipglosses – as i get allergies from a lot of them.

One of the double ended lipgloss i recommend is Tarte (though leaking is a problem with most double ended lipgloss – including RMK…)

I think I now have around 80% of the colours they have for sale….

Just wanted to share this with you.

Take Care! Wishing you a very prosperous year of the boar!

    Rgds,

    Karen
