When did you start the blog and why?
I started eBeautyDaily in July of 2005 - I had been blogging since before it was called blogging, but nothing serious. I ran across AboutWeblogs.com, and thought beauty was something missing in the network that I was SO into, so sent Shai Coggins an email, and here I am!
What do you spend on beauty products each month?
I am only answering this because my hubby isn't looking. :) Probably somewhere around $500-600 a month. Ridiculous.
Beauty fixation (what are you obsessed with and why?)
This changes a lot. I get my mind on something, and don't rest til I have it. My airbrush tanner was an obsession, currently I am rather obsessed over some D&G eyeglasses that are crazy expensive for a girl who wears contact lenses - and that Zeno zit zapper. Must. have. it.
Beauty Icons (who inspires you?)
Gosh, that is a hard one. I love to look at all people and analyze them to death. What have they done to their hair, how did they do their eyeshadow? I have family members that inspire me, and of course the untouchable celebs do as well. Like Britney 3 years ago - truly gorgeous girl - now? Not so inspirational. Really I enjoy doing makeovers - seeing the beauty in someone that doesn't know how to accentuate it and helping her find it. That is truly inspirational to me.
Edible Addiction that doesn't make you fat
Is there such a thing? Probably olive oil. I put it on everything. I guess it makes you fat, but it does a lot of good stuff for you too. See the next answer. ;)
Beauty Secrets (tell us something that no one knows and that you have not disclosed on your site)
This is another tricky one - I think I have spilled just about everything on that site. LOL I try to be very open. I guess maybe I haven't spilled how I drench my hands and arms in olive oil pretty frequently - like every night while I'm cooking supper. Yeah, all the way up to the elbows. I think it does something good for me. ;)

I dearly love my Kevin Aucoin books - I can look back through them time and time again and always pick up something new. I never tire of them.
Morning Beauty routine
My evening routine is much more involved - but in the mornings I wash my face, or run over it with a toner if pressed for time (of course I washed thoroughly the night before). Moisturizer - primer - and either a quick blast of bareMinerals, mascara and lipstick, or put on the full face if it is *one of those days.* Evenings are when I get into the big stuff - masks and scrubs, lotions and potions.
Must have travel beauty items
I never leave the house without my lipstick and mascara and a concealer, just in case. You can work miracles with a concealer if you need to polish up in a hurry. If I am really hitting the road for a big trip, I pack everything I own - I know that is terribly un-PC. ;)
Last time I was at the drug store, I asked one of the clerks about the zeno zit zapper and asked her if she thought it really worked. She told me that she didn't know but that people who had bought them constantly buy the refills which she took as a sign that they were happy with them (because they kept using them). I want one too but I haven't gotten it yet. Yet.
