So when I first saw Too Faced’s Juicy Jewels lip gloss I was stoked. It’s two lip glosses in one, with applicators on both sides, so your fingers don’t get all gross and sticky. And as an added bonus, the two lip glosses are flavored so you’d have rockin’ lips and a tasty treat. What could be better than that? Simple answer – anything. This is probably the worst lip gloss that I have ever used. We’ll begin with the fact that it was disgustingly sticky. I know, you’re thinking “But Beauty Snob, a lot of glosses are sticky and sometimes that’s just the price you have to pay for a pretty gloss.” Juicy Jewels was beyond sticky. It was so bad that it was coxing hairs that were firmly tucked into my updo to come out and plant themselves against my lips. I could have used it as a hair gel! The flavors taste nothing like advertised and the packaging is the worst idea ever. After one night of using it, the gloss had leaked all over my vintage clutch, staining the lining! I seriously wonder if the packaging ever went through quality control or anything similar. If, after all my warnings you still must try a Juicy Jewels gloss, buy “Love Lisa.” The shade was created in honor of the company’s founder’s sister who was recently diagnosed with melanoma and 100% of the proceeds go to “The Skin Cancer Foundation.” $21.50 at Sephora. (Lazaro and Jack of Proenza Schouler)
I think the Proenza Schouler boys are out to conquer the world. Well, the fashion world at least. They were sensations before they even graduated from Parsons, they created a sensation this month when their line debuted at Target and now Lancôme has given them their own shade of lipstick that’s almost guaranteed to be a sensation. (Who knew a handwritten note on a cocktail napkin delivered by a flight attendant to Anna Wintour would lead to this?) It’s a beautiful light pink shade that is modeled after the colors they’ve been using on the runway. “Proenza Pink” is scheduled to hit stores this March in VERY limited quantities. Rumor has it, if you’re not on the list, you’re not getting the lipstick and the list opened up on February 1st. So head into the nearest Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, or one of Lancôme’s four U.S. boutiques and sign up today!

Treat yourself this Valentines Day to the Park Place Princess set from Bare Escentuals. A five piece set including shimmering eye shadow in Drama, face color in Glee, all over powder Mineral veil, lip gloss in Glee, and a double ended face/eye brush. I love Bare Escentuals for its pure pigmented products, I started using it last summer and have turned many friends on to it's line of mineral based products free of oils, preservatives, fragrance, and dyes. This set is perfect for traveling and fits within the FAA guidelines for carry on items. I especially love the pretty in pink packaging, it's just so cute and princess-y! Best of all though, is the price, $83 value for only $45! Limited edition set at Sephora.com

I was applying my homemade tinted moisturizer (2 drops foundation of your choice and 1 drop Kiehls ultra lotion will give you coverage without sacrificing dewy skin) today and kept thinking how much I love my Laura Mercier make up sponges. It has the perfect pillowy softness for flawless application and it feels nice on the skin. Unlike the trianglular drugstore sponges that are hard and wipe the foundation off instead of blending it into your skin, these are soft, pillowy and generously sized. They also last a lot longer than the generic brands so it's worth the $14 for a pack of four. I wash mine every few days or so with liquid soap and it stays bacteria free. At Sephora

Sure, the super sexy soccer star is married but he's now available in a nice little bottle! Instinct by David Beckham will be sold in the US this summer. Stay tuned for more of the glamorous (if some what over exposed) couple and their new venture, Beckham Beauty House. Not that they need the money, David just signed a $250 million, 5 year contract to play for the LA Galaxy. Nothing against soccer or Becks (he's majorly hot although I question his taste in women) but I can't help thinking what that money could do for the LA school district.... just a thought :)

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner many of you are still probably looking for the perfect gift to give the man in your life. It’s a dilemma on an occasion like this. Guys don’t go for the flowers and teddy bear route that most girls secretly want. And if you give your guy what he’d really love, (a video game or new gadget) you run the risk of not being able to enjoy the evening because he’d be immersed in it all night! My recommendation is Jack Black’s Shave in a Bag kit. All men secretly love fancy beauty products, I’m convinced. (Seriously, how many times has a significant other come out of your shower smelling like your very expensive shampoo or body wash?) Jack Black makes fancy beauty products that aren’t emasculating. The kit includes an energizing scrub, a bottle of Beard Lube and a post-shave cooling gel. The Beard Lube is the best of the three. It’s a cream they put on pre-shave that acts as a shave cream and a conditioner all in one. So instead of the gross gels they usually lather on, which will dry out the skin, they can use this. It’ll make their skin kissably soft and smell nice to boot!! In the end, it’s really a gift for both of you! If you want to go all out, pair the kit with a really nice new razor, or one of those old time shaving kits. They’re awesome and every guy I know who has one seems to think he’s super manly for using a straight blade to shave with. $44 at Sephora Jack Black Shave In A Bag
An absolute essential in my bag is the L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, especially during the winter. For those of you who are fortunate enough to live in cold climate, you MUST keep this on you at all times. I keep the larger tube at home - I might forget my cell phone or wallet but I never leave home without my shea butter hand cream. Nice supple hands is the key to looking fresh and young, having dry cracked hands ages you by at least 10 years. I love the pure shea butter and although this is only 20% shea butter, it is actually more absorbant and leaves your hands soft and not greasy, which is important during the day so you don't gunk up your keyboard.
