Skinceuticals C+E Ferulic

There are a few things my skin can not live without, one of them is the Skinceuticals C+E Ferulic Acid. I first discovered Skinceuticals when I moved to Dallas, I was living in LA and working in Asia until then so it was a huge adjustment. Not only was I emotionally traumatized from moving thousands of miles away from my family, my skin suffered from the intense Texas heat (I literally felt like I was living in an oven!). A local facialist introduced me to it's first product, a topical vitamin C that provided a barrier against the harsh Texan climate that I immediately embraced. I've been a fan of the entire line ever since and their latest product, the C+E Ferulic acid, is the BOMB! My skin feels naked without it and I panic when I run out. I buy two bottles at a time just to avoid the panic attacks. You'll know what I mean when you try it, the result is instantaneous, as if you've covered your skin in a featherlight piece of silk. It protects your skin from harmful environments while reversing sun damage. It's available through Dermatologists or select spas. I buy mine at the Cooper Spa (possibly one of the best spas in the country, with iPod powered massage chairs and many other heavenly beauty treatments-the vichy shower made me feel like I was in a rainforest!). $122 Call 214-383-1010 and mention Beauty Snob for free DOMESTIC shipping! • Oh god this product sounds good. Will they ship to the UK do you think?!?!? Also, how much does one need to apply to experience the featherlight silk sheet effect?!?!? Whilst we don't really need much sun protection here in London (a moisturiser with an SPF 15 is good enough usually), the idea of my face feeling like silk is too tempting.

Thanks for the heads up Beauty Snob!!!

  • Just a few drops in the morning is all you need. I promise you will not be disappointed. I was told the entire cast of "Lost" uses it to protect their skin from the Hawaiian sun while on location.

  • I've been a faithful fan of Murad's Essential-C Daily Renewal Complex. How does this compare to Skinceutical's version?

Thanks for this blog- it's a must read for me.

  • OK, I am hooked. I just sent in another order for 3 more bottles.
