Sugar for your lips

The Sugar lip balm from FRESH has always been my favorite lip saver during the harsh winter months but now it has found a fan in my pint sized son (probably cuz it has real sugar in it). He calls it his “wipstick” (his father, the ex-football player, is not too pleased) and asks for it constantly. His lips were severely chapped during our stay in Vail and regular applications of Chapstick did not help. Finally, I tried the Sugar lip balm on him and his little lips healed immediately. It doesn’t taste gross and it glides on without residue (it’s full of yummy smelling oils and fatty acids that plump your lips). I can wear my lipgloss over it and it actually provides a really nice base. The best part though, is the sunscreen. We neglect our lips often (don’t you hate those vertical lines you see on women’s lips?) and they are actually more sensitive than our skin so they need special attention.

(I also have a wonderful lip treatment at night that keeps my lips smooth and line free, stay tuned for that entry :) I promise I’ll have your lips kissably soft before Valentine’s Day!)

My mom actually has the jump on me on this one. She uses this and loves it. I meant to pick some up on Saturday and forgot. Are you going to Neiman’s for the red carpet facial?

  2. Thanks for the recommendation. I’m hugely vain about my lips and have been looking for a good SPF balm. I’ll be trucking over to Sephora today to pick some up. Thanks again!

Thank you so much! My 3 year old son is looking like Ronald McDonald this time of year. Will grab it next time I trek up to Northpark!

  4. I love this lip balm too. I wish it was a little cheaper but that doesn’t keep me from buying it over and over.

I love your blog, adding this to my links now. :)

  5. I haven’t tried the Fresh balm, but my new favorite is the Lancome rouge absolut base. It is better than anything else I’ve tried, and well worth the pirce.

  6. You never posted what you use at night… not like I have been beauty snob stalking or anything ;)
